Coochie Island News (CIN) is an independent community newspaper published on Coochiemudlo Island, a subtropical island nestled just off Redland Coast, Brisbane.

CIN enables island and Redland Coast businesses, community groups and creative makers to introduce themselves, share their stories and to advertise events and products and services that benefit our community.

500 black and white copies of this 20-page newspaper are printed and distributed monthly and CIN is available 24/7 in colour online. Print and online copies are free.

We’re a little different to other newspapers. We only publish content that is positive, uplifting and inspiring, highlighting our strengths.  Coochiemudlo Island and Redland Coast are places where community is not just a word but a lifestyle, where random acts of kindness happen everyday, among a natural beauty that we work together to protect.

Our purpose is to highlight the strengths of our communities and to help knit our diverse communities together. For businesses, CIN is a great communication tool for off-island businesses to share news with islanders, holiday makers, day trippers and friends and family of island residents who travel through the Redlands on their way to and from island stays.

We value advertising support to help publish Coochie Island News. See our Rates here:-
